Wow! Blown away.
Context: we have always gone to kilim for our Turkish meal, but we've gotten a little tired of our usual. So with no expectations, we got the suggested meal, which was the chef grilled platter for 2. And yup!! It met everything we looked for. Fresh food, yummy salads, great dips. Note I didn't get the tabouli because it's not my thing. It was way more than enough for me, my partner, and our daughter (7 years old).
Now the place itself is clean, fresh, and spacious, like legitimately. I was so pleased. The place was half full, with loads of conversations at each table. Yet, we were taken aback by the quietness of the restaurant! Seriously, I am so over been drowned out by music and echoing noise. This place satisfied by need for peace βοΈ π β¨οΈ
The staff: Well, first off, I presume the owner is the chef, so my hats are off to you! He greeted us, got us sorted with menus, and suggested the meal. The server was lovely! The food didn't take long at all (does Turkish food ever take too long? lol) beautiful presented and we were left to our demise π π€£ π
The cost? Well, it's on par with restaurants on the strip. However, I can testify it is worth every dollar spent.
This is not a place I want to gatekeep, because why? Sharing is caring.. I say this now, realising at some point I'll get grumpy cause the place will be full, hahahaha. Not that anyone considers my review for nothing, hahahaha.
Anyway, get to it, people!
Yup I don't do photos, cause ain't nobody got time for that when the meat is steaming hot and the fries are crunchy!
